About ConstructESG

Built by construction people to make ESG practical

ConstructESG is a blockchain-backed platform that helps construction companies record materials, carbon, labour and vendor data as projects run, and turn it into ESG reports that hold up to scrutiny.

Why we built it

ESG evidence exists. It's just scattered.

Construction companies are asked for more ESG information every year, by clients, lenders, insurers and public owners. The information usually exists somewhere: on delivery tickets, in timesheets, in procurement files. But it's spread across dozens of companies and rarely in a form anyone can verify.

ConstructESG was built by people with more than ten years in construction administration and a wide network of construction companies. We've seen how much time goes into assembling evidence after the fact, and how little of it can be trusted when it's rebuilt from memory. The platform is our answer: one place to capture ESG data where the work happens, in records that can't be quietly changed.

Our mission is to help construction companies stay ahead of ESG requirements while promoting good practice across the industry, in a way that's affordable and accessible to firms of every size.

Focused on Canada

Canadian construction companies work under their own mix of federal, provincial and municipal requirements, for clients and investors who increasingly expect ESG evidence. ConstructESG is designed around that context.

Who it's for

One record, useful to everyone on the project

Construction developers and contractors

Capture material, carbon, labour and vendor records as projects run, and answer requests from clients, lenders and regulators without rebuilding the evidence.

Government assessors

Review ESG submissions against records that carry a timestamp and can't be altered after the fact.

Insurance partners

Get a clearer view of material quality, safety and project governance when assessing risk.

What it covers

An all-in-one ESG tool, built for construction

Each part of the platform maps to a question your clients, lenders or regulators are likely to ask.

  • Materials

Trace each material from supplier to installed location, with its certificates and product data attached. Read more about materials

  • Carbon footprint

Estimate embodied and operational carbon from real quantities and emission factors, and update it as the project changes. Read more about carbon footprint

  • Processes

See your whole value chain: who supplied what, who approved it, and which inspections took place. Read more about processes

  • Human factors

Keep a verifiable record of the companies and people involved in each project, their hours and their training. Read more about human factors

  • Transparency

Records are anchored to a tamper-evident ledger, so anyone reviewing them can confirm they haven't been changed. Read more about transparency

  • Automated reporting

Collect, organize and clean ESG data as projects run, then produce reports in a few clicks. Read more about automated reporting

  • Market data

Compare your projects against construction industry benchmarks to see where you stand on ESG.
